I've always been drawn to cybersecurity — following outlets like CyberWire, reading about breaches, watching how attackers operate. What I kept seeing was a pattern: small businesses were getting destroyed while the tools to protect them were priced for Fortune 500 companies.
A dental office, a law firm, an accounting practice — these businesses handle some of the most sensitive data imaginable. Patient records. Financial information. Confidential legal documents. But they have no IT team, no security budget, and no way to know if they've already been compromised.
I decided to build the solution. Not because it was easy — it wasn't — but because the problem was real and nobody was solving it at the right price point for small businesses.
